While completing a master’s degree at the University of Cape Town in 2010, she relocated to Mozambique to conduct research. She later managed a Trust in a remote, wild region of Niassa Province, investing her time in community development, agriculture and aquaculture programs. Although she has lived in several developing nations including Kenya, Mexico and Turkey, still, Mozambique is one of her favorite places in the world.
